White Mottled Ambergris, Video Frame
This white mottled ambergris, crackled white with olive patches, is genuine ambergris from my own photos at Ambergris Canada. I'm Nabil Valiulla, and I've assessed 4,678 specimens since 2004. If you've found something similar, anywhere in the world, send me photos and I'll help you identify and value it for free.

A frame from my video on understanding ambergris. Two hands turn a rounded piece in front of a grey T-shirt. Its surface is mostly white, finely crackled, with olive and dark brown patches scattered across it. A second frame from the same video is in the gallery.

I post new pieces, field trips and identification tips on Instagram.
Most of what washes up is driftwood and stone. I post the pieces that aren't, and how I tell them apart.
