Tall Mottled Black and White Ambergris
This tall mottled ambergris, black and white, standing upright, is genuine ambergris from my own photos at Ambergris Canada. I'm Nabil Valiulla, and I've assessed 4,678 specimens since 2004. If you've found something similar, anywhere in the world, send me photos and I'll help you identify and value it for free.

- Black and white, standing upright
A tall, egg-shaped piece of ambergris standing upright on a white digital scale with a green display, on a white table. Its surface is mottled pale grey and white with black patches, smoother over the rounded top and more pitted near the base. The display can't be read in this shot. The other side, against a red sofa, is in the gallery.

I post new pieces, field trips and identification tips on Instagram.
Most of what washes up is driftwood and stone. I post the pieces that aren't, and how I tell them apart.
