Small Round Speckled Ambergris, Video Frame
This small round speckled ambergris, cream with brown and olive flecks, is genuine ambergris from my own photos at Ambergris Canada. I'm Nabil Valiulla, and I've assessed 4,678 specimens since 2004. If you've found something similar, anywhere in the world, send me photos and I'll help you identify and value it for free.

A frame from my video on understanding ambergris: a small, round piece held between the fingertips of both hands. Its cream surface is speckled all over with golden brown and olive flecks, and it is about the size of a walnut. Turning a piece slowly like this shows the speckling on every side.

I post new pieces, field trips and identification tips on Instagram.
Most of what washes up is driftwood and stone. I post the pieces that aren't, and how I tell them apart.
