Pale Green-Cream Ambergris on a Scale
This pale green-cream ambergris, large and smooth, on a scale, is genuine ambergris from my own photos at Ambergris Canada. I'm Nabil Valiulla, and I've assessed 4,678 specimens since 2004. If you've found something similar, anywhere in the world, send me photos and I'll help you identify and value it for free.

- Notes
- Large and smooth, on a scale
A large, smooth piece of ambergris balanced on a blue digital scale on a wooden desk. Its surface is pale cream with a greenish tint and scattered dark spots, and darker green patches gather toward the lower edge. The piece is far wider than the scale's platform. A second view, showing a crackled area, is in the gallery.

I post new pieces, field trips and identification tips on Instagram.

Most of what washes up is driftwood and stone. I post the pieces that aren't, and how I tell them apart.
