Large Grey Ambergris with Black Blotches
This grey ambergris with black blotches, large, an earbud case for size, is genuine ambergris from my own photos at Ambergris Canada. I'm Nabil Valiulla, and I've assessed 4,678 specimens since 2004. If you've found something similar, anywhere in the world, send me photos and I'll help you identify and value it for free.

- Large, an earbud case for size
A large, pale grey piece of ambergris seen from above on a round black table, with a white earbud case beside it for size. Dark grey and black blotches spread across its rounded, pitted surface. The earbud case shows how big it is: the piece is several times its length. Two side views are in the gallery.

I post new pieces, field trips and identification tips on Instagram.
Most of what washes up is driftwood and stone. I post the pieces that aren't, and how I tell them apart.
