Elongated Pale Ambergris with Swirl Marks
This elongated pale ambergris, swirl marks along a tapering body, is genuine ambergris from my own photos at Ambergris Canada. I'm Nabil Valiulla, and I've assessed 4,678 specimens since 2004. If you've found something similar, anywhere in the world, send me photos and I'll help you identify and value it for free.

- Swirl marks along a tapering body
An elongated, pale grey-white piece of ambergris resting across a blue digital scale on carpet. It is broad at one end and narrows toward the other, and faint swirl marks and small pits run along its length. The piece is much longer than the scale's platform, so it overhangs on both sides.

I post new pieces, field trips and identification tips on Instagram.

Most of what washes up is driftwood and stone. I post the pieces that aren't, and how I tell them apart.
