Six Small Pebble-Sized Ambergris Pieces
These six small ambergris pieces, pebble-sized, white to brown, are genuine ambergris from my own photos at Ambergris Canada. I'm Nabil Valiulla, and I've assessed 4,678 specimens since 2004. If you've found something similar, anywhere in the world, send me photos and I'll help you identify and value it for free.

- Pebble-sized, white to brown
Six small, rounded pieces of ambergris on a beige towel, each about the size of a pebble. They range from pale white and grey to golden brown and dark olive, some smooth and others lightly pitted. Pieces this small are easy to walk past on a beach, so they are worth knowing.

I post new pieces, field trips and identification tips on Instagram.
Most of what washes up is driftwood and stone. I post the pieces that aren't, and how I tell them apart.
