Four Porous Grey Ambergris Pieces
These four porous ambergris pieces, grey and white, stacked outdoors, are genuine ambergris from my own photos at Ambergris Canada. I'm Nabil Valiulla, and I've assessed 4,678 specimens since 2004. If you've found something similar, anywhere in the world, send me photos and I'll help you identify and value it for free.

- Grey and white, stacked outdoors
Four large, porous pieces of ambergris stacked on a weathered wooden table outdoors, in bright sun. They are grey-white with darker grey and brown patches, and their surfaces are rough and full of small holes. A red woven sack lies beside them, with red and blue plastic in the shade behind. A closer view of the same four is in the gallery.

I post new pieces, field trips and identification tips on Instagram.
Most of what washes up is driftwood and stone. I post the pieces that aren't, and how I tell them apart.
