Pinkish-White Speckled Ambergris in Hand
This pinkish-white ambergris, speckled like a stone, held over grass, is genuine ambergris from my own photos at Ambergris Canada. I'm Nabil Valiulla, and I've assessed 4,678 specimens since 2004. If you've found something similar, anywhere in the world, send me photos and I'll help you identify and value it for free.

- Pinkish-white ambergris
- Notes
- Speckled like a stone, held over grass
A hand-sized, angular piece of ambergris held upright between thumb and fingers over dark grass, with a steel watch on the wrist. Its surface is pinkish white, finely speckled and slightly granular, with a few faint cracks. At a glance it could pass for a speckled beach stone.

I post new pieces, field trips and identification tips on Instagram.
Most of what washes up is driftwood and stone. I post the pieces that aren't, and how I tell them apart.
