Angular Grey-White Ambergris in Hand
This angular grey-white ambergris, held up in front of coral-red flowers, is genuine ambergris from my own photos at Ambergris Canada. I'm Nabil Valiulla, and I've assessed 4,678 specimens since 2004. If you've found something similar, anywhere in the world, send me photos and I'll help you identify and value it for free.

- Held up in front of coral-red flowers
A hand-sized, angular piece of ambergris held up outdoors in front of coral-red flowers and a lawn. Its surface is a mix of pale grey and white with darker grey streaks and swirls, and one side has broken into flat, sharp-edged facets. Two more views, indoors and from the other side, are in the gallery.

I post new pieces, field trips and identification tips on Instagram.
Most of what washes up is driftwood and stone. I post the pieces that aren't, and how I tell them apart.
